Welcome to The Playground PPEC

A PPEC, or Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care, is a special daycare center designed for children with medical needs. It’s a safe, nurturing place where kids—from birth to 21 years old—can receive skilled nursing care, therapy, and support throughout the day. While they’re here, children have the chance to play, learn, and make friends in a fun, caring environment.

Best of all, PPEC services are covered by Medicaid, so families can focus on what matters most—seeing their child grow, thrive, and enjoy life.
